Gertrude Kayeyia (Kay)

Kay is a global health professional with a strong focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). She holds an MSc in Medical Microbiology from the University of Manchester, where her research explored innovative combination therapies for treating MRSA infections. Her professional experience spans health communications, media relations, brand reputation, corporate positioning, stakeholder engagement, policy and patient advocacy, particularly within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

Most recently, Kay contributed to the Delphi study, helping shape expert discussions and solutions to advance AMR awareness. Through her work, she continues to bridge research, advocacy, and strategy, empowering communities and young professionals to take an active role in the fight against AMR.
