Amb. (Dr.) Jude Aondowase Shagba is a distinguished humanitarian and development professional, recognized for his innovative strategies and steadfast commitment to driving global impact and social reforms. He is distinguished fellow of the African Institute of Public Administration (AIPA), a doctoral fellow and an ambassador of the Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management (DR-FIGPCM), Doctoral fellow Public Administration (DPA), a licensed global peace diplomat (LGPD) and a certified management professional
(CMP). He is also a doctoral fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Management and Finance Institute (Dr.FIAMFIN) and a fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA), demonstrating his diverse expertise.
Jude’s academic background is both broad and impressive, including a joint degree in International Humanitarian Action from Uppsala University, Sweden, with specialization in armed conflicts and humanitarian action at the University of Warsaw, Poland, and regional training in ethnic politics, regionalization, and development at Chiang Mai University in Thailand. He also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Ilorin, an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Humanitarian Leadership and Management from Lucerne University, Switzerland.
As the founder of GHIV Africa, Amb. Jude has spearheaded impactful initiatives in Nigeria cutting across education, nutrition, WASH, protection, and livelihoods in conflict-affected areas in Nigeria. His efforts have reached over 100,000 children through educational interventions, over 50,000 malnourished children with health and nutrition interventions, more than 10,000 girls and women with GBV services, over 2,000 women with cash assistance, and over 120,000 vulnerable individuals with WASH services. These efforts, backed by over $5 million in grants from donors, have made a significant difference over the past three years. Jude has been at the forefront of community empowerment and peacebuilding efforts in Nigeria, making him a key player in the region’s humanitarian landscape.
Amb. Jude also coordinates the Change Makers Consulting Limited internship program in collaboration with GHIV Africa and Ambassadors for the World Poland, facilitating training modules on humanitarian leadership, peace operations, and proposal development. Currently serving as the CEO and chief consultant at Change Makers Consulting Limited, Amb. Dr. Jude continues to support governments and organizations in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
